Johor Bahru Kam Long Curry Fish Head & Food Adventure

Here is quite a back-dated post of the food journey in our neighbouring country - JB!

I have heard much raves about this famous curry fish head in JB and I decided to go try it one day, it did not disappoint!

This shop is located 2 streets away from the City Square Mall - once you walk out from the office tower area crossing over to where Hong Leong Bank is and walk straight down, you should be able to see a queue and that is where people are queuing for the curry fish head. The queue can form as early as 11am, so be there early else there will be a very long queue after 12noon. The shop is quite small and queue are not first-come-first-served. Depending on the number of pax you had, they will arrange table for you. If you have a small group, you may need to share table with strangers too.

The curry fish head is quite cheap too, it costs RM40 (S$15) for the big portion!

Super nice curry fish head

You can also buy takeaway for the fish head too. They will pack the fish head and gravy separately so you can warm/cook it when you reach home.
